ABOUT THE PROGRAM. The Commercial Driving program is a six or seven-week program and will prepare interested adult students for an exciting career on the road. Students will spend their first two weeks preparing for the written exam at the beginning of this program to earn their driving permit. After receiving their driving permit, students will spend the next four weeks working on pre-trip inspections, driving range skills, and road operations. Successful students will be able to test for a Class A CDL license. Interested students can also acquire a hazardous materials endorsement during the seventh week. ALL permits and licenses are issued by WV Department of Motor Vehicles. Contact School!
